Himmah Prep is built on the foundation of himmah (Arabic: همة) – ambition, resolve, and determination – the inner drive that distinguishes exceptional students.

We believe in building students for more than just college admission; we build them for leadership, for impact, and for the challenges that matter. Our unique three-pillar approach focuses on Academic Excellence, Character Building, and Future Readiness, providing comprehensive preparation that goes beyond traditional college counseling.

  • Led by industry experts, students participate in workshops led by expert facilitators, focusing on themes such as Leadership Self-Discovery, Communication & Influence, Team Building, Conflict Resolution, Decision-Making, and Public Speaking. These interactive sessions aim to develop principled future leaders who are ready to make a meaningful impact.

You Ask, We Answer.

  • Top colleges aren't looking for robots — students who have simply maximized every metric without genuine passion or direction. While a strong GPA and competitive standardized test scores are important, they're the floor, not the ceiling.

What actually differentiates admitted students is a combination of four things: academic excellence with a clear focus, meaningful extracurricular impact, a compelling personal narrative, and demonstrated leadership potential.

The students who get into Harvard, Stanford, and Yale are the ones whose applications tell a coherent, memorable story — not just a list of achievements. Starting early, choosing activities with depth over breadth, and writing authentic essays are the three highest-leverage actions a student can take.

At Himmah Prep, we guide students through all four dimensions — ideally starting in 10th grade, when there's still time to build the profile, not just document it.

  • Himmah Prep is the only program that combines Ivy League college advising, standardized test preparation, leadership coaching, and summer activity planning in one all-inclusive package. Every other program makes you piece together separate tutors, counselors, and coaches. We do it all under one roof.

Our entire advisory team holds credentials from Ivy League universities — not just one or two advisors, but our full staff. And unlike large counseling firms that take on hundreds of students simultaneously, we deliberately limit our intake to ensure every family receives genuinely personalized attention.

The result: our students have been admitted to every top 20 university in the United States, including Harvard, Stanford, Yale, MIT, Princeton, Cornell, Duke, and UC Berkeley.

  • We work with students in grades 9 through 12 who demonstrate intellectual curiosity, ambition, and initiative. We don't define potential by GPA alone — we look for students who are genuinely driven to build something, contribute something, and grow into leaders.

Our process is selective by design. Families begin by completing a thorough background form. From there, a select number are invited for an interview before being admitted to the program. This isn't gatekeeping — it's how we ensure every student we work with gets the full attention they deserve.

We work with families worldwide, including a significant number from the GCC region, the US, and internationally.

  • The honest answer: earlier than most families think. Our experience shows that starting in 10th grade yields the best outcomes. Here's why — by 10th grade a student has enough academic history to diagnose gaps, but still has two full years to address them. There's time to build meaningful extracurriculars, prepare for standardized tests thoughtfully, and explore summer programs strategically.

A rough breakdown: 9th grade is for building habits and exploring interests. 10th grade is our ideal entry point. 11th grade is the most critical academic year — grades, test scores, and summer programs all need to be strong. 12th grade is execution mode: essays, applications, and interviews.

We do work with 12th graders, but strategy shifts significantly when timelines are shorter. The earlier you start, the more levers we have to pull.
